I look back at pictures from a few years ago when I tried out the “sexy cop” for Halloween and can’t help but cringe and wonder what I was thinking. I wish more women would wear costumes that involve fun and creativity rather than risky hemlines, but at the same time I feel that the less sexy you look on Halloween, the less attention you get from anyone. I’ve written about my thoughts on this on my own blog http://bit.ly/dl8EBa and would love to hear your thoughts!Shivanihttp://www.cafespark.com/blog/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3898764086325769645.post-72745275126766207332010-06-08T08:54:10.902-07:002010-06-08T08:54:10.902-07:00Hi Simon,

I wrote a poem about barefoot running last year (http://parlancer.blogspot.com/2009/04/poetry-barefoot.html) that includes a link to a similar article. <br /><br />Sadly, I haven't been running for a long while now. I discovered I have asthma (http://parlancer.blogspot.com/2009/03/fitness-file-perspective.html). To stay in shape now, I've done fencing off and on for years (http://parlancer.blogspot.com/2008/09/fitness-file-fencing.html), and I also go for long walks, hike, and practice yoga.Cherihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12879237630925649165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3898764086325769645.post-27856928107744876192010-06-08T07:50:32.113-07:002010-06-08T07:50:32.113-07:00Have you ever tried running barefoot? It takes time and you have to start very *gradually*, but it may be worth it. Modern running shoes are like casts. Put your arm in a cast for a few weeks and muscles, tendons and ligament will atrophy. Read the book "Born to Run" by McDougal, and then point your browser to http://therunningbarefoot.com/?page_id=455, and http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/RunningBarefoot/, and http://www.runnersworld.com/community/forums/runner-communities/barefoot-running.<br />Happy training! And I was so surprised too to find out that no one in CA knew what I was talking about! I introduced the Fluffernutter to my husband a couple of years back and he thought it was an abomination! Haha! I've only been able to find Fluff out here once, and now I can't remember where. Most of the time, I can't find anything resembling Fluff or, if I do, it's this Kraft Jet-Puffed crapola. Boo. Everything is really fresh and their guacamole is fantastic. If you go easy on the cheese and sour cream it's fairly healthy.
