Poetry: Be Heard

Here is poem # 22 for the poetry pledge drive.

Be Heard

I would wish this on anyone -
The danger of knowing

Too much. Let them fear
You, gnash their teeth

At night, look over their shoulders
Cowering. Want to know more

Than they want you to, crack open
Every book, entertain the ideas

Of heretics, demand every voice
Be heard.
